Eukora Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This explains what Eukora collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. Eukora Technologies, in Accra, Ghana, is responsible for the data described here.
What we collect
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your name, email address and profile photo | To create your account and show who you are to friends and groups |
| Your exam target and class level | To choose the right questions and study plan for you |
| Your answers, scores, XP, streaks and badges | To mark your work, track progress and run leaderboards |
| Your groups, friends and challenges | To run the social features you choose to use |
| Device type, app version and notification token | To send the reminders you turn on, and to fix faults |
| What you write in "Report a problem" | To answer you and fix the problem |
| Subscription and payment records | To give you the access you paid for, and to keep our accounts |
We do not collect your location, your contacts, or anything from other apps. We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party advertising.
Children's accounts
A child's account is created by their parent. It has no email address and no password: the child signs in with a login code and a PIN that their parent controls. Children are hidden from search, so other users cannot look them up. A parent can see their child's progress, change the PIN and delete the account at any time from their parent account. We ask children for no more than the name their parent gives us and the work they do in the app.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of providers, and only for the job named:
- Google Firebase — sign-in, and push notifications.
- Amazon Web Services and Supabase — the servers and database that store your account, in Europe.
- Paystack — subscription payments. Your card details go to them, never to us.
- Resend — the emails we send you.
- Our AI provider — when you ask for an explanation, the question and your answer are sent to generate one. We do not send your name or email with it.
We also share information when the law requires it. Because our providers are outside Ghana, your data is stored and processed abroad, under contracts that require them to protect it.
What other students see
Your display name, profile photo, level and streak appear on leaderboards and to people in your groups and challenges. Your email address, your answers and your scores are never shown to other students.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your name, email, photo and sign-in immediately. We keep quiz answers and scores with nothing that identifies you, so question statistics stay accurate, and we keep payment records for as long as accounting rules require. Backups are replaced on the normal backup cycle.
Your choices
- See or correct your data — most of it is in the app under Profile. For the rest, email us.
- Delete your account — in the app under Profile, or at eukora.com/delete-account.
- Turn off notifications — in the app under Profile, or in your phone's settings.
- Ask for a copy — email us and we will send you your data.
Keeping it safe
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase and never stored by us. Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, so if a breach ever affects you, we will tell you.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
